A lamacoid tag is an engraved two-colour plastic plate that attaches with screws, rivets or a chain. It's the same plate as a lamacoid label, and the only difference is the mounting. What's the difference between a lamacoid tag and a label?
Same material, same engraving. Labels have adhesive backing and sit flush on a flat surface. Tags are drilled for screws or rivets, or hung from a chain. If you're not sure, order adhesive plus holes on the same plate and the installer can choose.

What size holes do lamacoid tags have?
Holes are drilled to the diameter and position you give. 1/8" and 3/16" are typical for screws or rivets. Valve tags usually get one hanging hole. The builder keeps holes clear of the lettering.
What are lamacoid tags used for?
Anywhere the tag has to stay put through vibration, heat or a lot of hands.

Can I order lamacoid tags in Canada without a minimum?
Yes. There's no minimum, from one replacement tag to a few thousand plates. Tags are engraved in Burlington, Ontario and ship by Canada Post or courier anywhere in Canada. Pickup at the shop is free.

Yes. Both on one plate is common on schedules that mix new enclosures and retrofits.

Do you make round lamacoid tags?
Rectangles with square or rounded corners are standard. Round and shaped tags are quoted from a drawing.
