How a Toronto order works
- Send the list. A panel schedule, valve list, one-line diagram or a marked-up photo of the existing tags. Include the wording, sizes, colours, quantity, mounting and the site address for delivery.
- Get a line-item quote. Priced by plate area with volume tiers at 25, 50 and 100 pieces, plus shipping. Rush timing is available on request; say what date the site needs the tags.
- Engraving in Burlington. 1–3 business days for typical jobs. Plates are engraved through the surface layer on two-colour phenolic, bagged and labelled per panel or per room when the list is organised that way.
- Courier to the site. Shipped to your office, the job site or the building's loading dock, anywhere in Toronto, Scarborough, North York, Etobicoke or the wider GTA.

Colours and code plates
Stocked combinations are black/white, red/white, carbon/white and white/blue. Black/white covers general identification. Red/white is used for danger plates and for code-mandated identification such as CEC Section 64 solar disconnects and CSA Z462 arc flash warnings. If a Toronto drawing calls for a colour that is not stocked, send it and it is quoted on request.

Can you engrave from a Toronto panel schedule or one-line diagram?
Yes. Send the schedule, drawing or a photo of the existing tags with the dimensions. Each plate is engraved from its own line item, so a mixed schedule of panel names, breaker tags and disconnects is normal.
What do Toronto electrical inspections expect for identification?
Ontario follows the Ontario Electrical Safety Code, and the RU4 amendment now requires circuit identification whenever circuits are added, removed or modified, not only on new panels. Engraved lamacoids satisfy the permanent, legible identification that inspectors look for; confirm any wording or colour requirement with your inspector or the drawing.
